KinCony Server-Mini – Raspberry Pi CM4 Home Automation Server (Aluminium Shell, CM4 Lite Included)
Overview
The KinCony Server-Mini is a compact, industrial-grade automation controller built around the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4.
It combines an 8-channel relay output module, 8 digital inputs, 433 MHz RF receiver, RS485, and full Raspberry Pi CM4 connectivity in a single DIN-rail–mountable unit.
Designed as a local automation server, it supports Home Assistant, Node-RED, MQTT, custom Python scripts, and any CM4-compatible Linux distribution.
The aluminium shell provides improved durability and passive cooling for stable 24/7 operation.

Installation / Application Notes
-
Requires 12–24 V DC regulated power supply.
-
For Home Assistant:
-
Install HA OS for CM4 or run Supervised on Debian.
-
Relays + Inputs available through GPIO, Node-RED, or MQTT.
-
-
Relays and input ports are wired directly to CM4 GPIO, allowing low-latency hardware control.
-
433 MHz receiver is suitable for simple RF sensors and remotes (RX only).
-
Use the I2C bus for additional modules (screens, sensors, expanders).
-
When using relay loads above 8A, ensure proper wiring and external protection.
-
Aluminium enclosure provides better heat management for continuous use.
