Shelly 1 Gen3 is a single-channel Wi-Fi smart relay with dry (potential-free) contacts, designed to control electrical appliances and automation systems while allowing independent voltage switching. With support for both AC and DC power, it is suitable for lighting circuits, sockets, garage doors, gates, irrigation systems, boilers, and contactor control.
Powered by the Shelly Gen3 platform with an ESP processor and 8 MB memory, Shelly 1 Gen3 provides faster response times, improved reliability, and expanded integration capabilities. The device connects directly to Wi-Fi without requiring a hub and includes Bluetooth for quick onboarding and Bluetooth gateway functionality.
Its compact in-wall form factor allows installation behind switches or inside electrical enclosures, while the dry-contact relay enables safe switching of different voltage sources independent of the device’s power supply.
