Overview
This Tuya Zigbee human presence sensor uses 5.8 GHz mmWave radar to detect both movement and stationary human presence, including situations such as sitting, working, or sleeping. Unlike traditional PIR motion sensors, it continuously monitors micro-movements and ambient light levels, allowing more reliable occupancy detection in spaces where PIR sensors often fail.
The sensor integrates with Tuya Smart / Smart Life and Zigbee-based platforms such as Home Assistant, enabling presence-based automations for lighting, climate control, and security. Its adjustable detection range, sensitivity, and delay settings allow the device to be tuned for different environments such as bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, or living spaces.
