Overview

Shelly 1L Gen3 is a compact single-channel Wi-Fi smart relay designed for lighting control in installations without a neutral wire. It operates on 220–240 V AC and requires the included Shelly Bypass for 1L/2L, connected in parallel with the load, to ensure stable operation in no-neutral circuits, especially with LED lighting.

As a Gen3 device, Shelly 1L Gen3 is powered by the Shelly ESP processor (ESP-Shelly-C38F) with 8 MB flash, providing faster response times, improved reliability, and expanded integration capabilities. It also includes Bluetooth connectivity for fast onboarding and can act as a Bluetooth gateway for Shelly BLU devices.

The device supports local control, cloud control, scripting, and integrations with platforms such as Home Assistant, making it suitable for advanced automation in modern smart homes.
