Overview

The CrowPanel 2.13″ E-Paper HMI Display is an ESP32-S3-powered electronic paper screen that mimics the look and readability of real paper. A hard-coated anti-glare surface keeps content visible even in direct sunlight, and its pure reflection mode means no backlight is needed — the last image stays visible even after power loss.

Built around the ESP32-S3 chip running up to 240MHz, with 8MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM, it communicates over SPI and is fully supported in the Arduino IDE. Multiple onboard buttons and interfaces (UART0, BAT, 2×10 GPIO) make it straightforward to wire into a DIY build.
