Overview
The Shelly Wave Dimmer EU LR is a compact, in-wall Z-Wave smart dimmer designed for precise control of dimmable lighting circuits in EU installations. It supports trailing-edge dimming and can operate with or without a neutral wire, making it suitable for both modern and legacy wiring setups.
This model supports Z-Wave Long Range (ZWLR) for extended, highly reliable communication directly to a compatible hub, while also supporting standard Z-Wave mesh (Z-Wave Plus) operation where it can act as a repeater. Brightness can be controlled via the app, automations, or a connected wall switch, with additional features such as Night Mode and scheduled brightness levels for different times of day.
The device integrates with certified Z-Wave gateways and is commonly used with platforms such as Home Assistant when paired with a compatible Z-Wave controller.
