Overview

Shelly Flood Gen4 is a battery-powered smart water leak and rain detection sensor designed to detect leaks the moment they occur and send instant alerts to your smart home system or mobile device. It helps prevent costly water damage by notifying you before small leaks escalate into serious problems.

Equipped with a 2-metre extendable leak sensor cable, Shelly Flood Gen4 allows monitoring of hard-to-reach areas such as under appliances, along walls, or across floors. It is suitable for use in basements, kitchens, garages, laundry rooms, holiday homes, and any other areas at risk of water intrusion.

As a Shelly Gen4 device, it supports multi-protocol connectivity, allowing operation over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee, and is Matter-certified for broad smart home compatibility. It can be used locally or integrated into platforms such as Home Assistant, Apple Home, and Google Home. A Zigbee gateway may be required if Zigbee is used.
