Shelly LoRa Add-on is a long-range communication module designed to extend connectivity for compatible Shelly Gen3 and Gen4 devices using LoRa technology. It enables reliable, low-power communication over distances of up to 5 km (line of sight), making it suitable for applications where Wi-Fi or other short-range technologies are not practical.

The module connects directly to supported Shelly devices via the proprietary serial interface and is powered by the host device, allowing seamless integration without additional power requirements. It is designed for remote buildings, outdoor installations, agricultural monitoring, and infrastructure automation.

LoRa communication requires at least two Shelly devices equipped with Shelly LoRa Add-ons, with one device acting as the transmitter and the other as the receiver.
