It is designed for seamless use with Home Assistant and works out of the box with both ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT, providing the same core Zigbee coordinator functionality as official hardware at a significantly lower cost. Firmware updates can be managed through Home Assistant, allowing long-term maintainability and flexibility.
