Overview

This Tuya Wi-Fi human presence sensor uses 5.8 GHz mmWave radar to detect both movement and stationary occupants, making it far more reliable than traditional motion sensors in situations where people remain still. It connects directly to Wi-Fi with no hub required, making it suitable for simple smart home setups using the Tuya Smart / Smart Life ecosystem.

The sensor combines mmWave presence detection and ambient light sensing in a single ceiling-mounted device. With adjustable detection range, sensitivity, latency, and hold time, it can be tuned for different environments such as bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, and lighting automation scenarios.
