The Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2 is the official Zigbee or Thread USB adapter from Nabu Casa, designed for high-performance smart home networking with Home Assistant. Powered by the Silicon Labs MG24 chipset and paired with a 4.16 dBi high-gain omnidirectional antenna, it delivers fast, stable, and low-latency wireless communication.

The ZBT-2 operates in either Zigbee 3.0 or Thread mode (one protocol per device), prioritising reliability and network stability. It supports automatic detection and firmware updates in Home Assistant, making it the recommended adapter for Home Assistant Green, Home Assistant Yellow, Raspberry Pi, and Home Assistant OS installations.
